The International Mathematics Contest is an online Challenge presented by the International Society for Mathematicians (ISMM) and is aimed at high school students. The competition requires that a mathematical student complete a multiple choice test to qualify. The challenge can be completed online or at a live event held at a university. There are several methods of qualifying to enter this challenge. There is no fee for entry into this international event.

Students who qualify are invited to submit an entry form online to enter the competition. All students who are enrolled in a mathematics course should complete their entry form and send it to the contest organizers to be entered into the competition. The entries are judged by experts in the field of mathematics.

Students who are invited to enter the Canadian math contest are notified approximately four weeks prior to the start date of the contest. They are given instructions on how to access their entry forms. Once the contest is underway, a list of all qualifying students will be sent to the students. After the deadline for submitting entry forms, students can register and begin participating in the contest.

Once the Euclid math contest begins, students have up to six weeks in which to complete their entries. A computer is used to count all the answers and to grade the results. Once a student is sure of his/her results, they are asked to mail the submitted entries, along with their answers, to the contest organizers. The contest organizers verify all submissions and then choose the winning entries.

If a student's score does not meet the minimum score required for qualification, the student may be disqualified. In some cases, a student's answer may not be correct, but the student has provided many more correct answers than others. The correct answers are chosen and the student's score is considered a minimum, not a maximum. The maximum is still the highest of the student's scores.

This Math Contest has attracted many international participants and there are now many websites on the internet that offer information about this contest and various other competitions. The ISMM website is one of the most important websites online and contains the most detailed information about this contest.

Math contests are designed to encourage students to perform better. Many of the winners of the ISMM Math Contest are awarded certificates of recognition.

As part of the ISMM Math Contest, students are encouraged to look at the problem from several angles. This will help them see the problem in new ways, and they will be able to think creatively when they do solve the problem.
